Born in 1936, The Phantom was created by Lee Falk, who also created Mandrake the Magician. This is a chronicle of all the Frew comic books in my collection, plus all Phantom merchandise and other Phantom goodies I own. Please don't steal my images; they've taken me many hours to scan.
Found in a bargain store in Elsternwick, back in the early nineties, purchased for approximately $2. This profile shot of the Phantom was used on several items in the era, including vests, boxer shorts, ties, tshirts and other bits n pieces.

First penned by Lee Falk in 1934, Mandrake the Magician is a beloved comic crime-fighter. With a wave of his enchanting hand, crooks and gangsters are hypnotized into submission. Believing the illusion that their weapons are deadly snakes and red-hot irons, criminals cast aside their defenses and are easily apprehended by the cunning magician and his allies. With his dapper mustache and top hat, Mandrake the Magician is an unforgettable classic comic hero.
